St Mary’s is a one form entry school welcoming children and families from all faiths and none. Our provision serves a small number of working families that rely on after school care and we hope to continue to grow it over time.

We are looking for a member of staff that is passionate about delivering meaningful and enhancing, after school child care that will help us adhere to our mission statement “Feeding the mind, body and spirit so we can be the best we can be”.

We wish to appoint an after-school club assistant who:

  • Have a love and passion for education
  • Can work independently, planning, setting up and offering a range of after school activities
  • Have excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with children, families and staff
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Maintains systems and carry out procedures that safeguard children
  • Be fun, creative and active

Start date:         Monday 20th February 2023 (Induction days to take place early February)

Closing date:     Tuesday 24th January 2023 at 09:00am

Interviews:         Week beginning 30th January 2023

Scale:                    Scale 4 £27,060.00, pro rata / term time only

Hours:                  3.15pm-5.15pm Monday-Friday (there maybe opportunities for additional hours if interested)

 

One-year contract, with the possibility of extending for the right candidate.
