St Mary’s provides a breakfast club that starts at 8.00am to support working families. If you would like further information please contact the school office.

Lessons start at 9.00am for Reception to Year 6 and children are expected to be in class at this time and ready to start learning. The school gates open at 8.50am to allow 10 minutes for children to get to their class and be ready for learning at 9.00am.

The school gates will close at 9.00am and children arriving after the gates are closed will be recorded as late as they will not be in their class ready to start learning.

Children in Key stage 1 and Key Stage 2 have a 15 minutes comfort break mid morning.

Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage have access to outside learning space throughout the day.

60 minutes lunch breaks are staggered for the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The school day ends at 3.30pm when parents and carers are expected to collect their children. Gates open at 3.25pm for a smooth transition.

In line with the government guidelines, Children start school at 9am and finish at 3.30pm. Total weekly hours: 32 hours and 30 minutes.
