How to apply for a primary school place at St Mary’s

Applications must be made by registering and naming the school online at eadmissions.org.uk

Waiting List

The school and Hackney Education maintains waiting lists. Children are ranked on the waiting list in accordance with the schools over subscription criteria.

Applying for a primary place after the start of the school year

Admissions outside the normal admissions round will be considered in accordance with the school’s over subscription criteria.

Admissions Appeals

Parents who are not offered a place for their child are entitled to appeal to an independent committee under the provisions of the Education Act 1980. You will find all information about the appeals process on the Hackney Council Education website.

 

Students with disabilities

The School does not have any specific units or facilities for pupils with particular special needs and there are no specific facilities for pupils with physical disabilities. The school consists of several interlinked buildings, on various different levels.
