London Diocesan Board for schools Service  at St Paul’s Cathedral

On Thursday 26th January, Mrs O’Brien,  Mrs McKelvey and Ms Clarke had the pleasure of escorting 9 children from years 3—6  to the London Diocesan Board for schools Service  at St Paul’s Cathedral. The theme for the Service was ‘Stewards of God’s Wonderful Creation.’ Which recognises the gift of creation and our responsibility to be good stewards especially in the light of environmental challenges.

We created a banner to display at St Paul’s Cathedral which focused on  the year 6 trip to Gran Canaria last year where we all leant how to become Global Citizens.

All church schools from across the Diocese attended the service to celebrate  together and give thanks for our world and each other.

The children that attended the service sang beautifully, listened intently and represented St Mary’s School perfectly.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon together!
