I currently have one child in the school, and I have been involved in supporting the school through reading recovery and assisting on school trips over the years. As a school governor it gives me great joy to be able to assist the school and staff to ensure they give the children the best they can during their time at St Mary’s. I run a family business alongside working for a bookkeeping company, and I also volunteer at my local church.

I am a qualified social worker working with children and families in Islington. I am motivated about supporting children and families to thrive in their communities, whilst prioritising safeguarding, children’s wellbeing and stable family relationships to create positive societal change. Having gained previous experience in the education sector, I am additionally interested in advocating for more inclusive education spaces which promote diversity and equality and providing strategic support to create better systems, services and management to ensure success for children and families.
